We are extremely proud of this fast growing event and want all visitors to have a great day out! If the weather conditions are not suitable for the event, it may be cancelled last minute. We will endeavour to arrange an alternative date before 31st August 2019. Dogs are welcome as long as you clean their mess and keep them on a lead at all times. Accessible facilities and limited parking are also available. Visitors must stay within the fenced areas and access to aircraft maneuvering areas without a staff escort is strictly forbidden!
Visiting by Road
If you plan to arrive by road, the entrance is on the Portaferry Road, next to the Texaco Garage. There is ample parking on our airfield so we ask that you do not park on the drive way, Portaferry Road or Londonderry Park. You will also be closer to the event if you park on the airfield (and its FREE!)
Visiting on Foot
If you are walking to the airfield, it is the same entrance as the cars. No access will be available through the Comber Road.
Visiting by Air
No PPR is required for any flights visiting on 6th – 7th July but if you would give us a courtesy call or send a PPR form, it would be greatly appreciated! Parking will be on the grass field next to the crowd line. Landing, overnight parking and hangarage charges (if avail) are waived during the event.
All vendors are required to have prior permission from the organiser and a permit issued. You will be refused at the gate if you do not have this permit available for staff. Any vendors wishing to attend should seek permission here. This is not a “Car boot sale” and space is limited.
This event is not run by Ulster Flying Club staff, so please do not call the office for information or requests.
